SLU-PP-332

Also known as: SLU-PP-332 ERR agonist

SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small-molecule agonist that targets Estrogen-Related Receptors (ERRs). It is designed to mimic the physiological effects of exercise by modulating metabolic gene expression.

Molecular Properties

Molecular Formula

C18H14F3N3O2S

Molecular Weight

393.38

CAS Number

2228795-31-0

Research History

SLU-PP-332 was developed as a tool to investigate the therapeutic potential of ERR activation. Recent studies have demonstrated its capacity to increase oxidative capacity in muscle tissue.

Studied Mechanisms

The compound acts as a selective agonist for ERR-alpha, beta, and gamma. By binding to these receptors, it upregulates genes involved in mitochondrial biogenesis and fatty acid oxidation, effectively 'exercising' cells in vitro.

Storage Reference

-20°C in dry conditions

Handling Reference

Soluble in DMSO; use standard chemical safety protocols
