Research History
Thymosin Beta-4 was first discovered in the thymus gland, but its systemic roles in wound healing were only fully characterized in the late 20th century. TB-500 was developed as a more stable, smaller peptide fragment to replicate the therapeutic effects of the endogenous protein.
